Chintoos Reserve yours

The cuddly friend that talks back and keeps parents close.

A plush companion for children aged 3 to 8. It talks, tells stories, sings their favorite songs, and rings your phone the moment they start crying — complete with a thumb-slide shutter for instant privacy in your home.

Deposits are refundable in full, any time, until your bear ships.

The Chintoos bear: soft brown plush, a camera lens set in its nose, speaker grilles in both ears, and a brown satin bow.

What It Does

Four things your child will love — and nothing they don't need.

Talks & Answers

Listens, understands, and responds in a voice kids adore.

Stories & Games

Interactive tales and fun games — no screen required.

One-Touch Calling

One button to call you. No dialing, no confusion.

Cry Alerts

Detects distress and alerts your phone instantly.

Three of them. Your child picks one.

The hardware is identical in all three — same microphones, same camera shutter, same 30 cm sitting height. What changes is who's doing the talking.

Not sure? You can swap once, free, within thirty days — children change their minds, and we'd rather they changed them early.

Reserve Bhalu

The parent app, under your thumb.

Monitor, call, manage content, and set who can reach the toy — all from one place.

Trust is a thing you can check.

Can I listen in? Can anyone else?

You can open a live channel from your phone whenever you want — nothing is written to storage, and nothing reaches our servers.

The bear's face. The camera lens sits open inside its nose. A thumb sliding the shutter closed over the lens in the bear's nose.

What if I don't want a camera in the room?

Close it with your thumb. It's a mechanical slide, not a setting — it covers the lens and breaks its power in one movement.

The Chintoos app user list: three named guardians, each set to Open or Restricted.

Who can reach my child through this?

Only the people you name can reach the toy — a device that isn't on your list can't see that this bear exists.

9:41 Conversation Tuesday 15 September 09:12 Why is the sky blue? Because sunlight is made of colours, and blue scatters most. 09:13 Tell me about a tiger. Once there was a tiger who was frightened of the dark… 20:40 I miss Amma. Shall we press your paw and call her? Delete this day

What did it actually say to her?

Every conversation appears as plain text- The recording is discarded, the words are kept for you.

The hardware works. The app works. The film is next.

This isn't a concept render. The working prototype is ready to meet the child. We would rather show you the thing than describe it. So here is exactly where we are today, and what arrives when.

A child sitting on a rug, talking to the Chintoos bear. A frame from the prototype shoot.
Filming now A real child and a working bear, in one unbroken take. The full film replaces this frame the moment it's cut.

Shot on the prototype, in a real living room. Nothing here is a render.

  1. The toy is built

A working prototype on the desk: microphones in both ears, the camera and its mechanical shutter, one-touch calling, a battery that lasts the day.

    Done
  2. The app is built

Guardian list, live audio, the conversation log and cry alerts — running on both iOS and Android, not mocked up.

  3. Today, 16 September
  4. Bhalu meets a child, on camera

The first real interaction film. No script and no second take — whatever the bear says is what you'll hear.

    This week
  5. Gaja's film

The elephant, same room, same treatment, so you can compare the voices before you choose one.

    A week later
  6. Mitu's film

The peacock, and the last of the three. All three films are up before shipping opens.
